In July 2024, our company decided to focus more on AI assistant feature. One of the outcome is the AI Call Assistant which is to use AI to help handymen manage calls, summarize call transcript, and streamline CRM tasks.

How might we design an AI call assistant that streamlines communication for handymen, helping them handle calls efficiently and reduce the time spent on managing customer interactions?

Proposed Flow

My pm and I came up with an onboarding flow that introduces the AI Call Assistant and guides handymen in setting up call forwarding preferences, allowing them to customize when and how Breezy AI handles their calls.

Onboarding Design for Breezy AI Call Assistant

The onboarding process focuses on setting up the AI Call Assistant according to the user's preferences and the rules that they want to define.

1. Select AI voice

The first step for users is to choose the AI's voice. Instead of beginning with the typical 'enter name and number' sign-up process, we aim to provide a glimpse of the AI's capabilities to captivate users and elevate the onboarding experience.

2. Enter user's business info

The next is to ask user to enter their business link so AI can quickly scan and input the business info.

3. Confirm business info

User will also confirm their business information and provide the address of the business.

4. AI assistant preview

After the initial setup, users can listen to an AI-generated call script customized to their business profile, giving them a firsthand experience of how the AI Call Assistant operates.

Next step is to enter full name and phone number to continue the setup.

7. Set up AI call agent

Next step is to set up the AI call agent. User will need to set up his/her AI assistant by providing detailed information that the user want AI call agent to know

8. Receive a Breezy number 

After setup, Breezy provides the user with a dedicated Breezy number, which they can share with their customers to enable the AI call assistant to manage all incoming calls.

9. Purchase Breezy subscription

User will need to subscribe to the service to use the Breezy call assistant.
